Day 138 of Your Year to Wellness; Seeing the Future

Love you NOW

Beautiful Now

In the book A Year to Wellness, I point out that in order to get the body you want, you must love the body you have now. I know that this is difficult and seems to contradict the purpose How can you love what you desire to change?
You do it the same way a parent loves their child. They love the child as they are now, while guiding them toward who they will become.
It is important that you see yourself as beautiful, wonderful and powerful just as you are today. If you want your body to respond to the changes you are making; you must love it.
Imagine hiring someone and telling them that you don’t like them, but you want to work together and be effective in all that you do. Every day, you look at that person, sigh and wonder how anyone could love them. You tell that person that they are ugly and getting old, then you say, “come on, we have work to do.”

This is what you are doing to yourself.  You have an expectation of greatness, while planning for failure.

·         Today and every day that follows tell yourself that you are beautiful, wonderful and powerful.

·         Have an expectation of success and when you fall short encourage yourself to be even better.

·         Believe in you and your desired outcomes.

·         Know that you know that you know that you are worthy of being loved.

That’s it; short and sweet. Just like me. (I’m learning to love the short part because at 51, I am just not going to get taller.)

Be you, be well, See Beautiful
