Day 79 of Your Year to Wellness; Bringing it Up

Bringing Forth what’s in you

I was recently asked why it is that when you seek to get well, you suddenly find yourself sick.

The answer is simply yet profound; you were probably already sick.
It’s been found that lots of folks are living on the border of some illness or another never paying attention to the symptoms or problems. When left unattended, these issues can become major illnesses and have a terrible impact later on.

There is a Gnostic proverb which says that “If you bring forth that which is within in you, what you bring forth will save you, but if you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”
Wow!

This proverb can be applied to both the good and the bad. If you bring forth the purpose of your life it will save you, if not that same unfulfilled calling can destroy you.

This lesson takes more than a day but requires just a moment of reflection.

What have you left uncovered?

To answer the initial question, when we pay attention to our health and wellness we begin to see all that had not been previously addressed. We are also becoming well enough for the old issues to come forth to be treated.

As difficult as it may seem, early detection is a gift to the spirit, mind and body.

Pay attention to the things that have been dormant and you will be rewarded with wellness and balance.

Bring forth.
Be you, be well, be attentive.
